Randomness in Cambodia

Here are some other fun sights from Cambodia.

View of Angkor Wat from a hillside temple.

Angkor Wat from where we had our sunset picnic and wine

Sipping on some wine, enjoying the views

 We saw elephants!!

There were tons of children trying to sell stuff to tourists. They were incredibly pushy, and it was actually kind of sad. Some of the kids couldn't be more than 3 or 4!
They had a clear affinity for M though...

Here they are trying to get Vickie and Kevin

This was a sticky rice treat wrapped in bamboo and cooked...our guides had this for their snack.

We saw monkeys and baby monkeys. Vickie and I probably took a million pictures of these monkeys... I feel like the mom is clearly telling me to get away in this picture.

This guy was getting groomed right in front of Angkor Wat...

This mom had three baby monkeys!!

These guys had a car battery hooked up to a printer to sell pictures to tourists. Very entrepreneurial...

This was in the jungle temple - the sign says danger area, yet there are little kids playing in it...

Here Vickie is buying a CD from disabled individuals (disabled by land minds)...

Kevin bought this policeman's hat and badge - too funny!

Oh the joys of the pool bar!! This was after a long day of trekking through the temples...

I've already started working on my Vietnam post. The trip did not go as planned, and we didn't get to see Ha Long Bay. We actually came back to Singapore or day early, which in the end will be less stressful for me because we leave Singapore for home in two days!! I've got tons of work to do still, but I will try to get the post up before I get home. Stay tuned!
