Good times in Clarke Quay

Here are some of our Clarke Quay adventures...

Clarke Quay- a place filled with restaurants and bars- you can't see them in this picture- but if you look back through my blog, you can see the giant fake mushroom things that cover this whole area. Pretty cool looking.

This is on a bridge in to Clarke Quay- everyone drinks and hangs out on this bridge. This was a two person act (sadly my picture of the hula hooper didn't turn out). This guy was named Hiro. I am not sure these pictures do his floating balls act justice...

This is a shirt that lights up and changes to the music. Haha- too funny! Available for purchase in Clarke Quay.

This is M's favorite bar. You can hear live music here daily.

Up next- K TV!

K TV (or karaoke) in Clarke Quay! Now, I have never been a fan of karaoke, but this was amazingly fun. Arun set it all up, and we went with some great profs also teaching over here. We had our own room, and no one  took it too seriously. We stayed until 2am! I would do this again in a heartbeat!

After a busy night in Clarke Quay waiting for Vickie and Kevin to arrive, we headed to Old Empire. It is a bar in the same building as the hotel. They had a breathalyzer on the wall. Hehe- note who has the frowning face. Neither one of us would ever drive in Singapore, but this was funny to do.
